The Social Media Box displays directly below the Contact Information Box on the right hand side of a web page below the main site navigation. It can be displayed by itself with no Contact Information Box as shown above, or combined with the Contact Information Box as shown below.

Social Media Template

The only required field within the [Active] Sidenav Social Media block template is the "Name" field, everything else is optional. 

Most of the links do not require the whole link to be filled in, just the last identifying portion. See examples below. 

Name (required field): The name you give this content type item. This is only seen in the back end of the system. 

Instagram Account ID: For "https://www.instagram.com/smuhuskies/" it's "smuhuskies/"

Display Facebook Page Embed: For "facebook.com/SMUChemistry/" is "SMUChemistry/", not case sensitive.

Display Twitter Link: For "twitter.com/SMUChemistry" is "SMUChemistry", and case is not important.

Display Facebook Page Link: For "facebook.com/SMUChemistry/" is "SMUChemistry/", not case sensitive.

LinkedIn Link AND NEXT: COMPLETE URL for LinkedIn Profile or page, eg: "https://www.linkedin.com/school/sobeyschoolofbusiness/"

LinkedIn Profile name AND ABOVE: eg "sobeyschoolofbusiness"

YouTube Channel ID: for "https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCm0VjekR-4a-sUftCHzAAvg" it is "UCm0VjekR-4a-sUftCHzAAvg" 

Pinterest Account Link: for "https://www.pinterest.ca/smulibrary/" its smulibrary 

TikTok Account Link: eg @smuhalifax
