The [Active] General Content for most uses is by far the most utilized content type across the Saint Mary's website. The content on this page was created using an instance of this content type. It consists of a heading and an area to add content to in much the same manner you would use a word processor. 

When you add this content type to a page you will see a screen like that below:

Using the "[Active] General Content for most uses" Content Type / Template

Name (required): The name you give this content type item. This is only seen in the back end of the system. 

Heading: This will put a pre-formatted heading above the content entered in the next box. 

Main Content: The area you add the main content to the page. This box allows you to add text, format that text within certain parapeters, add many kinds of links, images, files and tables.
