Publish Date, Expiring Content and Review

Tips and Tricks

TerminalFour has a few handy options for content types that you may wish to keep in mind.

Each content item has the option to have a Publish Date, Expiry Date or Review Date set for it.

To access these options first you have to select and edit the piece of content you wish to set a publish, expiry or review date for.  Once you've entered the edit mode for the piece of content you will see a tab at the top of the screen that is called "Options". Select the Options tab. Under this tab you will see Publish DateExpiry Date or Review Date options.

  1. Publish Date: The date and time when the content will be published by TERMINALFOUR if it is approved.

This is great for a piece of content that may need to be published over a weekend or at a time when you may not be available to do so.

  2. Expiry Date: The date and time that the content will expire. To restore an expired Content Item, select the content to edit it and save the changes.

  3. Review Date: The date and time when the content should be reviewed. An email reminder is sent to the user who last modified the content, or to the content owner (if one is set). The content review date gets removed from the content once the date is met.
