Academic Regulations Committee
- The Committee on Academic Regulations shall be responsible for the annual review of the general academic regulations as these appear in Section 2 of the Undergraduate and Graduate Academic Calendars (Academic Regulations and Admission Requirements), and shall recommend policy on them to Senate. The Committee may also recommend policy to Senate on activities or processes associated with areas governed by these regulations.
- The composition of this committee shall be as follows:
- The Vice-President, Academic and Research, or his/her designate, who shall chair the committee;
- Deans (Arts, Business, Science, and FGSR), or their designates;
- Three faculty members, one from each of the Faculties of Arts, Business and Science, appointed by Senate;
- One student appointed by the Students’ Association;
- The Registrar;
- The Director of Admissions and Scholarships for meetings to discuss Admission requirements;
- The University Librarian (or their designate);
- One representative from the Registrar's Office, appointed by the Registrar (observer, non-voting);
- One representative from the Academic Advising Units, as elected by the units (observer, non-voting); and
- Secretary of Senate (secretary).
