Thank you for your interest in Saint Mary’s University Preparatory (UPrep) Program! 

UPrep courses provide individuals the opportunity to meet admission requirements for post-secondary studies. Our instructors have carefully prepared course content to meet students’ needs and provide a solid academic foundation for future studies.

Our UPrep courses support students in a variety of academic goals. Whether you are missing a grade 12 course, need to improve a grade for admission to college or university, or need to meet the requirements for a new program or graduate studies, our courses should be your first choice.

Non-High School Graduates and Mature Learners

Students who have not graduated from high school or who have obtained a GED are encouraged to contact us directly to learn about the options available to them for studying at Saint Mary's University. Please contact uprep@smu.ca to set up an appointment.

Academic Advising

We offer academic advising to students who are unsure of the steps to take to meet their academic goals. Please contact us to set up an appointment with a member of the Admissions Team.
