About the Dr. Patricia Bradshaw Student Competition Enhancement Fund
To provide support to undergraduate and/or graduate students and teams in the Sobey School of Business competing in sanctioned competitions. The support may be in the form of a team sponsorship to defray individual student expenses or in the form of student awards to one or more students to cover costs associated with participating in sanctioned competitions. These funds are not used as a reward for performance, but rather to reduce barriers to and costs of participation.
Grants from the Fund will support but not be limited to student travel, transportation, Sobey branded clothing attire, competition fees, Sobey branded promotional materials, and so on, at the discretion of the Dean of the Sobey School of Business.
Dr. Patricia Bradshaw completed her term as dean of the Sobey School of Business on May 31, 2018. Saint Mary’s University, alumni and friends of the University and the Sobey School of Business donated to this fund in order to recognize Dr. Bradshaw for her efforts as Dean of connecting and building relationships with students, alumni and the business community.
