Start the Application Process
Apply to the Sobey MBA Program: Process Overview
To apply, you will need to provide supplementary material, complete an online application form, and pay an application fee. All required materials must be received before an acceptance determination can be made.
Step 1 - Gather supporting documents.
- The MBA Supplementary Form , which includes two essays (250-300 words each) and short answer questions
- Your official GMAT Score
- An up-to-date resume
- Transcripts: We will accept uploaded unofficial transcripts for evaluation purposes. Applicants must upload a grading scale with their unofficial transcripts. Successful applicants will be required to submit official final transcripts.
- Proof of English language proficiency (if applicable)
Step 2 - Request official transcripts.

Official transcripts for all universities and colleges that you attended sent directly to Saint Mary’s University in a sealed envelope from the issuing institution. Official documents should be mailed to:

Step 3 - Letters of reference.
Recommendations: Upon completion of the referee section of your online application, your referees will be sent a secure link in order to provide a reference. Recommendation Forms MUST be sent from the referees professional email address (ie. NOT Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo, 163, qq, etc).
Step 4 - Complete online application and pay processing fee.
Complete the online application form and provide the $110 processing fee.
Please note: For Sobey MBA applicants from outside Canada, we work with a network of trusted liaisons in many countries around the world who can help with your application, and if successful, your study visa process.
