The Sobey Executive MBA takes 16 months to complete and is divided into 4 semesters with a module delivered in each one: winter, spring, fall and winter, with a short break at Christmas before the final winter semester.

Get started with our unique onboarding approach

Your Executive MBA begins with a two-day onboarding session where you’ll be introduced to Saint Mary’s University systems and processes, assigned teams for group projects, and facilitated through leadership development sessions. You’ll also get to know senior administrators, support staff, and alumni.

Complete coursework on the Saint Mary’s University campus and online

Each module consists of four courses of 26 hours each, held on campus on Fridays and Saturdays every three weeks. Before each in-class session, you will complete self-paced online coursework and participate in webinars.

Meals and refreshment breaks

Students are provided with breakfast, lunch, and two nutrition breaks for each day during in-class days.

Your Practice-Oriented Research Project

Typically focuses on your organization, exploring an issue of interest, a specific challenge, or business planning.
