The Sobey Executive Doctorate of Business Administration (EDBA) will be offered every two years with a cohort of eight to twelve students. Students can complete the program in three years, with two years of coursework followed by a semester of courses with an experiential learning foundation, and then two semesters to complete an applied research project (dissertation).

Experienced instructors create dynamic learning environments by delivering quality HyFlex classes remotely. The program is delivered in five modules over three years in a hybrid format. Candidates will be on-site twice per semester (for three days each time), with all other participation completed online.

Students must successfully complete 11 courses (33 credit hours), including a Major Research Project.

In addition to course work, students must complete three significant projects to advance to the next year of study.

• Year 1: Complete a research synthesis project and approach documentation.

• Year 2: Develop an Applied Research Project proposal and successfully defend it to a three-member faculty committee.

• Year 3: Conduct and defend an Applied Research Project (ARP).
