- William J. Dalton Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded by the Department of Political Science and Global Development Studies. Applications are evaluated on the basis of academic standing and a declared major in Political Science.
- Dr. Krishna Ajoojapatel Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is available to an incoming graduate student in Global Development Studies. Preference is given to a student who plans to pursue research that encompasses issues related to women and development. Successful applicants are automatically considered for the scholarship; it is awarded for one year and is non-renewable.
- James Morrison International Development Studies Medal
The purpose of the medal, made possible through a generous donation by Dr. James Morrison of Saint Mary’s University, is to recognize exceptional fieldwork design and empirical research at the Master’s level in GDS. It is awarded to one thesis-stream student annually following the successful completion of an MA thesis and nomination by supervisory committee members.
