INFORMATION FOR GRADUATING STUDENTS
Plan to graduate in September
You should plan to graduate in September. The university does not recommend students delay graduation to participate in an in-person ceremony.
Graduation Status Email
Once all your final grades are submitted, a final review will be completed to ensure you meet all academic requirements to graduate. Once this review is complete, you will receive an email regarding your graduation status.
Potential Graduation Letter
After receiving your graduation status email, you have the option to request a Potential Graduate Letter online through Self-Service Banner.
This letter is only required for graduates who need to provide proof of an upcoming graduation or international students requiring documentation for post-study work permits.
Note: Requests for Potential Graduate Letters can only be submitted after you receive an email confirming your graduation status.
All potential graduates were emailed a Parchment Distribution Form on August 28. We are requesting this form be completed no later than September 18. Graduates will have the option to either attend our on campus pick-up event on Friday, October 2, or have their parchment mailed to the address of their choosing on Monday, October 5.
Details on the pick-up event will be sent to those who indicated they will attending over the coming weeks.
After September 25, you can order an official transcript through Self-Service Banner which will indicate your graduation date and that your degree/diploma/certificate has been awarded.
