Available for current and new students, spring and summer courses will be taught 100 percent online. You can take courses in one or both terms.

  • Spring term (summer I): May 11- Jun 27
    Final day to register and pay for the spring term: May 13, 2020
  • Summer term (summer II): Jul 6- Aug 22
    Final day to register and pay for the summer term: July 8

The Faculty of Arts offers a wide variety of courses in the social sciences and humanities to facilitate progress in your degree. Home to eleven academic departments and a unique array of interdisciplinary programs and minors, the Faculty of Arts can give you a "quick start" if you are new to Saint Mary’s, or if you’re interested in exploring opportunities for further education.

The B.A. Advising Centre continues to offer academic advising services to help students during this period of virtual operations. Be sure to book an appointment with an Academic Advisor to fully explore your program options and make informed choices about your summer and fall courses.

From Astronomy to Psychology, we have an incredible array of remote Science classes for you this spring and summer. New students, our spring and summer classes will give you a head start on your degree before September. Returning students, continue your Science degree from home this spring and summer. Questions? This spring and summer the Sobey School of Business offers online courses that can help you fulfill your academic requirements while exploring your interests. Our courses are open to new, current, and transfer students, offering core BComm requirements as well as those required for our major and minor pathways. Many classes have size limits, so make your choices as soon as you can! Book an appointment with your BComm Academic Advisor to help plan and determine the right courses to meet your goals. When you book, you can choose which appointment type you prefer: phone, or voice call or video call via Microsoft Teams. Book appointments here.

International students 

We are pleased with the announcement made by the Government of Canada that international students may complete up to 50 percent of their studies online, without any impact on student visas or study permits. You can simply register through Self-Service Banner, it’s as easy as that!
