Suzanne is the University Librarian at Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, NS. She brings more than twenty five years of experience working in and managing academic libraries. In addition to this role, Suzanne is the Copryight Officer for Saint Mary's University as well as the Senior Academic Integrity Officer. She is the current Chair of the Council of Atlantic Academic Libraries (CAAL-CBPA), and has also held leadership roles in other key regional and national organizations, including Chair of the Novanet Consortia of Libraries, President of the Atlantic Provinces Library Association (APLA) Libraries, and Secretary of the Partnership: Canada’s National Network of Provincial and Territorial Library Associations. Suzanne was a member of the CFLA-FCAB Truth and Reconciliation Committee, and a former member of the CFLA-FCAB Indigenous Matters Committee. Suzanne is committed to the academic library as a strong and vibrant resource for learning and research on campus. She has a passion for education and a strong background in developing and implementing new and innovative services.
