The Fred Smithers Centre for Student Accessibility (FSC) provides resources, services and accommodations to help reduce barriers in learning at Saint Mary's.

Many disabilities can be misunderstood or overlooked, and students may not even realize they qualify for support. Others may hesitate due to stigma or uncertainty about whether accessibility services apply to their circumstance. Disabilities can take many forms – visible, invisible, temporary or evolving – and accommodations are designed to support individual needs.
