I am taking a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and will complete the last three years at Dalhousie with co-op.
Graduation date: May, 2021 (I will graduate from Dalhousie in May of 2024)
Favourite class: Engineering Design 2

Future (education):
- Continue Bachelor’s Degree of Mechanical Engineering with Co-op at Dalhousie. Will be moving to Quebec in September to complete a four month work term on Bombardier Recreational Product’s Sea-Doo Mechanical Engineering team.
- Continue being actively involved with Engineering Students in Atlantic Canada in my position as Vice President of Finances for the 2021-2022 executive team on the Atlantic Council of Engineering Students (ACES).
- Possibly pursue a master’s degree after completing bachelor’s.
Future (career):
- Not sure yet, work doing something that I love!
- Interested in working within fields related mechanical design, ocean technology and/or environmental sustainability.
Favourite spot at SMU: The Atrium Café
Advice for new students: Your time at SMU will pass quickly, so enjoy it while it lasts! Become friends with your professors and fellow students and learn as much as you can. Go to events and get involved when possible and dream big. Most importantly, have fun and try not to stress too much over your course work!
