Coro Strandberg
President of Strandberg Consulting and Chair of the Canadian Purpose Economy Project
An international thought leader in impact governance and purpose-led business models, she advises businesses, governments, and industry associations on strategies to accelerate sustainability and foster a just, regenerative, and resilient future.
With over 20 years of experience in corporate governance, including roles as board and governance committee chair, Coro teaches and advises on sustainability, purpose, and stakeholder governance for boards, directors, and governance professionals. She serves as a faculty member for The Directors College and Governance Professionals of Canada (GPC) and is an advisory panel member for the Office of the Auditor General of Canada’s Environment and Sustainable Development Commissioner and the Canadian Standards Association’s sustainability committee.
Currently, Coro is a member of the ISO Working Group, which is developing ISO 37011, an international guidance document on purpose-driven organizations. In 2024, Coro received the Joyce Borden-Reed Award from GPC for her innovation and leadership in governance in Canada. Previously, she spent five years as the lead advisor to the McConnell Foundation’s Social Impact Presidents group advising on strategies to accelerate universities as a greater force for good in Canada.
