The Student Employment Initiative (SEI) Program, organized by Saint Mary’s University is an employment program to assist students with disabilities to secure employment contracts with organizations, gain volunteer experience and develop their professional skills and competencies.
The SEI program supports students with disabilities and offers a 50% wage subsidy to employers throughout the year! Hire diverse candidates and create a supportive and equitable workplace.

Co-operative Education Incentive (CEI) is a wage subsidy to hire a post-secondary co-op education student for a work term of 12- 16 weeks or a Grad Intern in the Spring or Fall for a 6-month internship.
Application dates are:
15 Aug to 16 Sept - Winter co-op
15 Dec to 15 Jan - Summer co-op
15 Apr to 15 May - Fall co-op

The RBC Talent Fund is a wage subsidy program aimed to benefit entrepreneurial led companies based in the HRM area. The program can help grow your business by adding bright young talent to your team through hiring SMU students.
Graduate to Opportunity (GTO) is helping to build a stronger workforce and retain young people in Nova Scotia with a salary incentive that makes it easier to hire recent graduates.
Employers receive 25% of the first year’s salary – 35% if the new graduate is a member of designated diversity group – and 12.5% of the second year’s salary.
