The policy prohibits the use of all smoke and tobacco products (with the exception of tobacco used for Indigenous ceremonial purposes), traditional cigarettes, e-cigarettes, chew, pipes, cigars, hookah or water pipe smoking, snus, snuff, etc.
Please note that e-cigarettes are included in the policy. For more information see:

Smoke-Free Campus & Tobacco Use Committee
A campus-wide committee includes representation from administration, staff and students, and connects to outside agencies such As Smoke-Free Nova Scotia, the Lung Association of Nova Scotia, and Nova Scotia Healthy Authority.
The Smoke-Free Campus & Tobacco Use Committee evaluates reports of repeat offenders, neighborhood concerns, and overall policy issues and recommends actions for resolution.
