Course Design and Development

To help guide with enhancing your course, we offer one-on-one sessions to assist you with this reflective process. Course design and development includes:

  • designing course objectives and outcomes
  • collecting meaningful and relevant stories
  • selecting action-orientated learning activities
  • designing effective student assessments
  • understanding student profiles and generational learners
  • using teaching different formats effectively
  • identifying educational technologies for classroom and online delivery
  • fostering students discussion
  • designing and using rubrics

Curriculum Support

We can arrange an observation to improve communication and understanding within your classroom, talk one-on-one about how to resolve issues, or consult on a variety of teaching and learning issues – everything from positive mentorship to teaching large classes.

Program Review

We provide support and guidance to academic departments throughout the program review process. For example, we can assist with:

  • editing self-study reports and responses to recommendations
  • developing student surveys and analyzing survey results
  • facilitating a department retreat for strategic planning or developing an action plan
  • facilitating sessions with faculty in key areas such as developing threshold concepts, program goals and/or course objectives; and curriculum mapping.
