“Under the leadership of my predecessor, Dr Patricia Bradshaw, the Sobey School made significant progress on its goals of further internationalizing the business school, strengthening engagement with its communities, and developing and innovating within its curriculums, activities and people,” said Dr. Bhabra.

The Sobey School dean acknowledged the important role played by faculty, students, alumni and partners in achieving the progress made to date.

“We now turn our attention to charting a course for the next 5 years,” said Dr. Bhabra. “It is my vision for the Sobey School to continue on to build on these pillars of internationalization, engagement and innovation, and to set new, ambitious targets in these areas.”

“Further, it is my mandate to develop a plan for the intensification and enhancement of our research.”

Dr. Bhabra announced that a committee of faculty and community members has been struck to begin developing a renewed strategic plan based on these commitments. The process will include consultation with the business community, faculty, students and alumni.
