Congratulations ICBC Teams

Date Published: January 18, 2019

In January, Sobey School of Business sent three teams of competitors to the national ICBC competition. It was the school's 25th year participating, and 23rd year of first-round success. Two teams, those competing in Accounting and Ethics, were successful in moving on to the finals, although ultimately they were denied a top prize. Thirty schools competed in seven events and 130 submissions.

Congratulations to students Emma Sencabaugh and Andrew Cantwell (Accounting) and Olivia MacDonald and Justin MacEachern (Ethics). Also competing were the marketing team, Joseph Henry and Gernic Soudine, who graduated last week.

This year marks a significant change - Dr. Karen Lightstone, coach of the ICBC team, has handed the torch to new Case Competitions Coordinator Dawn Henwood. Both coaches travelled with the team to introduce Dr. Henwood to the competition.
