Patrick Larter is a Saint Mary's University alumni and Government of Canada employee. He graduated from Saint Mary's University with both a Bachelor of Environmental Studies (2014) and Master of Arts in Geography (2017). These two degrees highlight his passion for building environmental sustainability and understanding the interconnections between people and the environment.
Following his degrees, he became the Project Coordinator with the Community Conservation Research Network, managing a network of academics, NGOs, government agencies and Indigenous organizations to better understand the challenges and successful outcomes of community-based conservation initiatives.
Currently, he is working with the Canadian Federal Government under Indigenous Services Canada, where he is supporting various programs that work toward building and supporting healthy First Nation and Inuit individuals, families, and communities.
