Brightspace is unavailable at this time and it is not accepting logins.
EIT is currently working on the solution and will have it working as soon as they can.
UPDATE: Brightspace issue has now been resolved and Brightspace is now allowing you to login.
Please be advised that EIT will be performing an update to our certificates for our Banner System early on Monday, Dec 4th. At that time, logging onto the system maybe disrupted. Banner will be accessible again on or before 8:30AM Monday Dec 4th.
During this maintenance window, the functionality and availability of the following systems may be affected:
AppsAnywhere, BOE, Printing, File Shares, Authentication systems, Activate, Wired connectivity, and other network-connected services.
Please be advised that EIT will be performing an upgrade to our Banner system starting at 4pm, Friday, Nov 17th. At that time, Banner Self Service, Admin Pages, Degree Works and Activate will not be available.
Banner and Activate will be accessible again, on Saturday, Nov 18th at 5pm.
SMUport and Brightspace will continue to work. Banner links will return an error until the maintenance is completed.
System Outage - Scheduled Maintenance October 21st 8am to 2pm
During this maintenance window, the functionality and availability of the following systems may be affected:
AppsAnywhere, BOE, Printing, File Shares, Authentication systems, Activate, Wired connectivity, and other network-connected services.
Please be advised EIT will be performing system maintenance on the Activate system on Wednesday, October 18th from 11:30AM - 1PM. During this time, Activate will be unavailable. Help Desk will be able to handle any required password changes during this time.
EIT is currently investigating an issue with email from campus devices to Office 365 being delayed. This is affecting systems such as 'scan-to-email'. Regular email is NOT affected.
Microsoft has issued an advisory that appears to be the cause the issue - we are working with them to confirm and for an restoration ETA.

EIT will be performing scheduled system maintenance on May 5th, 2023 from 6:30am to 8:00am. All campus network systems will experience temporary unavailability during this time.
Including Authentication, wi-fi connectivity, printing, internet access, Banner access, AppsAnywhere, Teams Phones etc.

Some users may be unable to view or access web apps in Microsoft 365 or access the Microsoft Teams admin center.
Work around: If you have Microsoft desktop apps installed, you can use these until this issue is resolved by Microsoft.
