Networking is the most effective way to secure employment. Research has shown that more than half of all jobs are found through networking, which is similar to the information gathering interviews. Networking is connecting people to other people, and benefiting from the experience of others.

  • Information Interviews: These are conversations you may have with people who work in the field. Sometimes your best chance for honest information is to ask someone who does a job. Get your information, decide if the area is right for you and then make the move to talk to employers.
