Ms. Zainab Almukhtar, a PhD candidate in Applied Science, was awarded a $15,000 PhD Scholarship from the Nova Scotia Health Research Foundation (NSHRF). Ms. Almukhtar is supervised by Sobey School professor of Management Science, Dr. Michael Zhang. Her thesis aims to develop optimal capacity planning strategies for mental health services for children and youth.
