ITSS supports three internet browsers for Windows computers.
Internet Explorer (IE)
IE is a web browser that is supplied with all versions of Windows and is fully ITSS supported. It can be accessed by clicking on the Start menu->All Programs then Internet Explorer. To make IE the default browser*, click on the menu icon in the upper right hand corner. Then click Internet Options. Select the Programs tab and click Make Default.
Chrome is a web browser, made by Google, that is widely used and fully supported by ITSS. You can usually find it on your computer by clicking on the Start menu->All Programs->Google Chrome then clicking on Google Chrome. To make Chrome your default browser*, Click the chrome menu icon in the upper right hand corner and select Settings. In the "Default browser" section, click Make Chrome the default browser.
Firefox is another web browser, made by Mozilla and is also fully supported by ITSS. It can be usually be found on your computer by clicking on the Start menu->All programs then clicking on Mozilla Firefox. To make Firefox your default browser*, click the Firefox options menu icon in the upper right hand corner then click options and the Advanced tab. Under the "General" subtab, click Make Firefox the default broswer.
* Default browser is the internet browser that automatically start when the user clicks on a web address or link.
