eLearning Centre

What are the steps to enroll in an eLearning course?

To enroll in an eLearning course you must follow these steps.

  1. ‌Apply to the university.
  2. Register for the course through Self-Service.
  3. Pay fees for eLearning course(s).

You must also comply with specific University regulations.

All students who are Canadian and are registered in three (3) or more Saint Mary's University courses per semester, and all international students, are assessed a mandatory medical fee which provides them with a supplemental health benefits plan.

Those students who are assessed a medical fee and are doing web courses may be able to waive the health plan. For inquiries about this medical fee and how it applies to web students, please contact the Student Health Plan Office at: healthplan.smusa@smu.ca

Medical waivers must be completed on an annual basis. For academic year 2015-2016 the deadline for waiving the medical fee is mid September.
