Dr Sophie Beaulé, Department of Modern Languages and Classics, was invited to conduct a week long seminar on Contemporary Franco-Canadian literature at Babeş-Bolyai  University (Cluj-Napoca, Romania). The seminar , organized by Dr Simona Jişa, was funded by Université Babeş-Bolyai, the Center for Canadian and Québec Studies, the Agence Universitaire Francophone, and the Centre d’étude du roman français contemporain, in partnership with other organizations. Held between 11-15 July, 2016, the seminar brought together professors and graduate students specialized in Québec, Acadian, and Franco-Canadian literatures.
